Our 12-inch pillar candle burns for approximately 140 hours, and our 6-inch pillar candle burns for approximately 70 hours. Both sizes are 7 cm (about 2.75 inches) in diameter.

We use a carefully developed blend of soy wax and highly refined, premium-grade paraffin. This combination gives each candle a smooth, porcelain-like finish and ensures a clean, even burn from top to bottom.

We chose to keep our candles unscented so they work beautifully in any setting — dining tables, bedrooms, living rooms — without competing with food aromas or overwhelming a space. Unscented candles are also a great choice for people sensitive to fragrances.

For the best burn, let the candle burn long enough each time so the melt pool reaches close to the edges — usually 2 to 3 hours per session. Trim the wick to about 6 mm (¼ inch) before each use and keep the candle away from drafts. Our special pouring technique eliminates inner cavities, so you'll get a more even burn than most pillar candles.

Soy wax is made from soybean oil and burns cleanly at a lower temperature. Paraffin wax is a refined petroleum product that holds its shape well and produces a bright flame. Our blend combines the best of both — the clean burn of soy with the structural integrity and smooth finish of premium paraffin.

Our candles are designed to minimize dripping. The soy-paraffin blend we use has a higher melting point that helps the candle hold its shape. To avoid dripping, keep the candle away from drafts and on a level surface, and trim the wick before lighting.
